About Frankie’s Family

Our Beginning

Frankie’s Family was born from one simple act of kindness. In 2016, our founder, Frankie Hilbert, set out to give back through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. His goal was to raise $1,500 to adopt 15 angels. But with the support of his friends and family, something incredible happened — in just ten days, he raised $4,500, enough to adopt 45 angels.

That experience was life-changing. Seeing the impact that collective generosity could make inspired Frankie to dream bigger. The following year, he set an ambitious new goal: raise $15,000 to adopt 150 angels.

With careful planning, dedication, and the help of a matching donor, Frankie and his growing circle of supporters raised $17,500, matched by another $15,000 — allowing them to adopt an astounding 325 angels in 2017. What began as one person’s effort to give back had grown into a powerful community movement.

Becoming a Family

Recognizing the momentum and potential to do even more good, Frankie officially established Frankie’s Family as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2018.

Our mission is simple yet powerful:

To be a loving, helping hand to those in need within our local community.

Since our founding, the Angel Tree Adoption Program has continued to grow each year thanks to the compassion and generosity of our community. Volunteers, donors, and partners come together annually to help make the holidays brighter for children, seniors, and families in need. They are the heart of what makes Frankie’s Family truly a family.

Our Impact

As we approach our 10th Annual Angel Tree Adoption in 2025, our goal is to raise $75,000 to adopt 750 angels.

Over the past nine years, we have:

• Raised nearly $450,000

• Adopted over 4,400 angels

• Donated over $20,000 additionally in clothes and toys for “forgotten angels” who weren’t adopted

But our work doesn’t stop there. Inspired by the success of the Angel Tree program, Frankie’s Family has expanded its outreach to include:

• Feeding the homeless

• Annual coat drives

• Canned food drives

• Back-to-school supply drives

• And other community initiatives throughout the year

Our Commitment

Frankie often says he’s been blessed beyond measure — but what he’s most grateful for is the incredible community that continues to make this mission possible.

Today, Frankie’s Family remains entirely volunteer-run, including Frankie himself. This means that over 98% of every dollar donated goes directly back into the community to support those who need it most.

Together, we’ve seen firsthand how kindness, generosity, and teamwork can transform lives.
